East London Industrial Development Zone (ELIDZ) invites South African unemployed graduates to apply for Internship Programme 2024 / 2025.

The East London Industrial Development Zone SOC Ltd (ELIDZ) is a State-Owned Corporation established under the South African Industrial Development Zones Programme, now part of the South African Special Economic Zones Programme. ELIDZ’s mission is to develop, operate, and maintain modern infrastructure to attract strategic investments to the region.

ELIDZ is offering an exciting internship programme aimed at providing practical experience in various fields over a period of up to 24 months. This opportunity is available to South African citizens, especially those from the Buffalo City Metropolitan Municipality. Preference will also be given to top academic performers and persons with disabilities.

  • Qualification: M+3 in Accounting / Financial Accounting

  • Qualification: M+3 in Economics / Economic Sciences

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Academic Qualification: Applicants must have completed relevant studies and hold the required qualifications.
  • Citizenship: Must be a South African citizen, with preference given to residents of Buffalo City Metropolitan Municipality.
  • Disability Consideration: Preference will be given to suitably qualified persons with disabilities.
  • Employment Status: Applicants must be unemployed, not studying full-time, and should not have relevant work experience or have participated in any other internship programme.
  • Age Limit: Applicants should be between the ages of 18 and 35 years.
