Mulilo invites South African students to apply for Bursary Programme 2025 academic year.
Bursary Application Closing Date: 05 October 2024
The Mulilo Bursary is designed to support students from the Northern Cape province, providing financial assistance for Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and Distance Learning studies. The bursary covers tuition fees, a textbook allowance, accommodation, and a monthly stipend.
Eligibility Criteria:
To apply for the Mulilo Bursary, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Be a South African citizen.
- Be 35 years old or younger.
- Permanently reside in one of the following Northern Cape municipalities: Emthanjeni, Renosterberg, or Siyathemba.
- Currently be in Matric or have completed Matric.
- Be studying or intending to study towards an Undergraduate, Postgraduate, or Distance Learning qualification in any field.
- Be studying or have applied to study at a recognised and accredited tertiary institution in South Africa (University, Technicon, or TVET College).
- Have a combined family income of R180,000 or less per annum.

- Download and complete the Mulilo Bursary Application Form 2025 (.pdf)
- Complete the form and submit the following supporting documents:
- Certified copy of your ID document.
- Matric latest results (if in Matric) or Matric certificate (if completed Matric).
- Full academic record (if currently studying, on institution letterhead).
- Proof of application or registration at a tertiary institution (on institution letterhead).
- A motivational essay detailing why you are applying for the bursary and why you should be selected.

Selection Process:
- Shortlisted candidates will be contacted for a telephonic interview.
- Successful candidates from the telephonic interview will attend an in-person interview.
- Final decisions will be communicated by 10 January 2025.
- If no feedback is received by this date, applicants should consider their application unsuccessful.
