Cadet Programme (Post 35/31)
- Duration: 24 months
- Number of Cadets: 25
- Stipend: R7,450.63 per month
- Location: O R Tambo Building, Pretoria
Requirements:
- Educational Qualification: A minimum three-year NQF Level 7 qualification in one of the following fields:
- International Relations
- African Studies
- Political Science
- Economics
- Law
- International Trade and Investment
- Political Economy
- Development Studies
- Development Economics
- Public Governance/Administration
- Age: 18 to 35 years at the closing date of the advertisement
- Citizenship: South African citizen
Competencies: Candidates should possess strong interpersonal skills, effective communication (both verbal and written), computer literacy, and research and analytical skills. Additionally, the ability to network, build relationships, and demonstrate problem-solving and decision-making skills is essential. Knowledge of South Africa’s foreign policy, international trade, and multilateralism will also be advantageous.

Competencies: Ideal candidates should demonstrate customer focus, interpersonal skills, strong communication abilities, and analytical skills. A sense of responsibility, initiative, and problem-solving skills are also crucial for success in these internships.
