JSE Empowerment Fund (JEF) invites South African students to apply for Bursary Programme 2025 academic year.

Who Can Apply?
To be eligible for the JSE Bursary 2025, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Top Performer: You must be a full-time student achieving a minimum aggregate of 70%.
- Field of Study: Your studies must be in one of the following fields:
- Computer Science
- Mathematics
- Actuarial Science
- Information Technology
- Informatics
- Data Analytics
- Economics
- Finance
- Accounting
- Recognized Universities: Applications are accepted only from students enrolled at these institutions:
- University of Pretoria
- University of Johannesburg
- University of the Witwatersrand
- Nelson Mandela University
- University of Cape Town
- University of Limpopo
- North-West University
- Fort-Hare University
- University of Kwa-Zulu Natal
- University of the Free State
Required Documents
To ensure your application is processed, include the following supporting documents:
- Certified ID Copy
- Proof of Registration at a recognized university
- Academic Record showing your grades
- Proof of Household Income
- Proof of Residence
- An affidavit confirming the accuracy of the provided information
Minimum Requirements for Applicants
- You must be a South African citizen from a previously disadvantaged group.
- The joint income of your parents or caregivers must not exceed R650 000 per annum.
- Only 2nd year, 3rd year, or Honours level students are eligible for this bursary.
