South African Wind Energy Association (SAWEA) invites South African unemployed graduates to apply for Graduate Internship Programme 2024 / 2025.

About the WIIP

The wind industry is rapidly expanding, bringing with it a wealth of diverse career opportunities. The WIIP is designed to help young graduates bridge the gap between academic studies and full-time employment. In 2025, SAWEA plans to place 30 interns across its member organizations, offering participants an invaluable eight-month practical experience. This structured program will prepare graduates for success in the renewable energy sector, equipping them with the skills and knowledge needed to excel.

Who Can Apply?

The WIIP welcomes a variety of talents from different academic disciplines, providing an inclusive opportunity for young South Africans to enter the renewable energy workforce. The program encourages applications from graduates in the following fields:Engineering & Science:
