The National School of the Arts (NSA) is inviting unemployed graduates to apply for Internship Programme 2024 / 2025.

The National School of the Arts (NSA) is offering an exciting four-month internship opportunity for arts graduates. Running from December 2024 to March 2025, this internship focuses on engaging with the creative and historical essence of the NSA, curating a gallery of alumni luminaries across Art, Dance, Drama, and Music disciplines.
This initiative is part of the Presidential Economic Stimulus Programme, funded by the Department of Sport, Arts and Culture (DSAC) and managed under the auspices of the National Museum in Bloemfontein and facilitated by the Art Bank.
Key Responsibilities
- Researching and documenting the History of the NSA.
- Curating an alumni gallery showcasing luminaries in the arts.
- Supporting preparations for the new academic year and assisting in welcoming new learners.
- Contributing to an installation, production, or exhibition during the internship.
- Providing arts administration and programme support across the school’s departments.
Requirements
- Applicants must be under 35 years of age.
- Hold a Degree, Diploma, or Advanced Certificate at NQF6 level.
- Must have a passion for the arts and adaptability to thrive in a dynamic school environment.
- Be flexible and demonstrate creative problem-solving skills.
Stipend
Interns will receive a modest stipend of R5,700 per month.
