Fields of Study
Bursaries are available for undergraduate studies in the following fields:
- Auditing (Degree or BTech)
- Environmental Science/ Environmental Management/ Environmental Law (BSc or BTech)
- Financial Management/ Treasury & Investment/ Economics (Bachelor of Commerce)
What the Bursary Covers – Bursary for Auditing
The TCTA bursary provides full financial support, covering:
- Registration fees
- Tuition fees
- Prescribed books and learning tools
- Accommodation and meals
- A monthly living allowance
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify, applicants must meet these requirements:
- Be a South African citizen under 35 years old.
- Be in Matric (2024) or have completed Matric with a university entrance qualification.
- Achieve a minimum of 60% in English, Science, and Mathematics in Matric.
- Study or plan to study full-time in one of the listed fields at a recognized South African tertiary institution.
- Have achieved a minimum result of 65% in major subjects if currently enrolled at a tertiary institution.
- Come from a previously disadvantaged background.
- Have a household income below R350,000 per annum (before tax).
- Not be receiving any other bursary or sponsorship.
- Not be a child or close relative of a TCTA employee.
