About the Bursary – University bursaries

This bursary offers comprehensive coverage of tuition fees, registration fees, books, meals, and accommodation. Additionally, successful applicants will receive a monthly stipend to cover personal expenses.

The program is designed to uplift communities by empowering youth through education. Students pursuing various academic fields will benefit, as the bursary is not limited to a specific area of study.

Eligibility Requirements – University bursaries

Applicants must meet the following criteria to qualify for this bursary:

  1. South African Citizenship: You must hold South African citizenship.
  2. Residency: Applicants must reside within Zone 1 (Kgatelopele or Tsantsabane) in the Northern Cape province.
  3. Undergraduate Studies: You must be studying or planning to study towards an undergraduate qualification in any field in 2025.
  4. Enrollment: You must be registered or provisionally admitted to study at a public tertiary institution in South Africa (University or University of Technology).
  5. Financial Need: Applicants must demonstrate financial need.

The bursary will provide full cover for the following expenses: tuition fees, registration fees, books, meals and accommodation. Students will also receive a stipend. Bursaries will be awarded to students residing in Kgatelopele and Tsantsabane (Northern Cape), for undergraduate studies within any field. APPLY NOW before they close in 2025

Supporting Documents Required:

  • Certified copy of your ID document.
  • Certified copy of your Matric June results (if still in Matric). Final Matric results must be submitted after they are released in January 2025.
  • Certified copy of your Matric certificate (if already completed).
  • Latest academic record, if you are currently studying (on your institution’s letterhead).
  • Proof of acceptance to a tertiary institution (on the institution’s letterhead).
  • Proof of residential address.
  • Certified copies of your parents’ or guardians’ income proof (latest payslips if employed, affidavits if unemployed, or proof of pension/grant, if applicable).
  • Curriculum Vitae (CV).
  • motivational letter explaining why you are the ideal candidate for the bursary.

Note: There is no application form for this bursary, so applicants must submit their documents as outlined above
