Fields of Study Eligible for Bursaries:
Bursaries will be awarded to students pursuing studies in the following fields:
- Civil Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Finance
- Public Administration/Management
- Town Planning
These bursaries aim to support students who are eager to further their education and contribute to the growth and development of their community.
What the Bursary Covers:
The bursary programme will provide financial support for the following:
- Full tuition fees for the 2025 academic year.
- Registration fees (up to a maximum of R10 000).
This bursary is designed to relieve some of the financial burden associated with tertiary education and help students focus on their studies.
Eligibility Criteria:
Before applying, ensure you meet all the following requirements. Failure to meet the criteria may result in your application not being considered:
- South African Citizenship: You must be a South African citizen.
- Residence: You must live within the Elias Motsoaledi Local Municipality area in Limpopo.
- Matric Status: You must have completed Matric or be currently in Matric in 2024 with a strong academic record.
- Field of Study: You must intend to study one of the listed fields (Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Finance, Public Administration/Management, Town Planning) in 2025.
- Acceptance into a Tertiary Institution: You must have been accepted (or provisionally accepted) into a public institution of higher learning in South Africa (University, University of Technology, or TVET College).
- Preference: Preference will be given to previously disadvantaged students and those in financial need.
