The Moore Bursary Programme for the 2025 academic year is now open for applications. This opportunity is for South African students who wish to pursue a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree in Accounting at a SAICA-accredited university.

Eligibility Criteria:

To be considered for the Moore Bursary, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  1. South African Resident: You must be a South African citizen.
  2. Matric Results: You must have completed Matric with excellent results.
  3. BCom in Accounting: You must be studying or registered to study towards a BCom (SAICA-accredited qualification).
  4. University Enrollment: You must be enrolled at a SAICA-accredited university in South Africa.
  5. Academic Average: You must maintain an overall average of at least 60%.
  6. Strong Personal Values: You should demonstrate strong ethical standards, such as honesty, integrity, and a good work ethic.
  7. Self-Confident Achiever: You must show personal ambition and determination.
  8. Financial Need: You should be unable to afford your studies due to financial constraints.
  9. Leadership: Previous leadership experience is preferable, though not mandatory.
