How to Apply

To apply for the FirstRand Empowerment Foundation Postgraduate Bursary, follow these steps:

  1. Submit Your Application Online: Applications must be submitted via the official application portal. Click the link to apply:

  2. Required Documents: Ensure that you submit clear copies of the following documents (failure to submit any of these may disqualify your application):
    • Certified copy of your ID document (not older than 6 months)
    • Certified copy of your Matric certificate
    • Certified copy of your academic records
    • Proof of university acceptance or provisional acceptance for 2025
    • Proof of household income (latest payslips if employed, affidavit if unemployed, affidavit stating annual income if self-employed, audited financial statements or 3 months’ recent bank statements if a business owner, SASSA letter if applicable)
    • Completed EEA1 form (which can be downloaded from the application portal)
