Portia M Foundation invites student to apply for Bursary Programme 2025 academic year.

The Portia M Foundation Bursary Programme is offering financial assistance for undergraduate studies across any field of study. The bursary is valued at R300,000 and will cover a portion of your tuition fees. However, it does not cover accommodation, book allowance, food, or any other expenses.
Bursary Details
- Total Value: R300,000 (covering part of tuition fees).
- Exclusions: Accommodation, book allowance, food, or other expenses are not covered.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Matriculants: Must have completed Matric with at least a Level 5 in relevant subjects and be entering undergraduate studies in 2025.
- Final-year students: Must be in their final year of undergraduate studies in 2025, with a minimum average of 65% and awaiting graduation.
- Tertiary Institution: You must have been accepted into a recognized and accredited South African tertiary institution.
- No Other Funding: You must not be receiving any other bursary funding, including NSFAS.
How to Apply
- Online Application: Submit your application online via the Portia M Foundation Bursary website.
- Include the Following Documents:
- Certified copy of your ID.
- For first-year students: Matric certificate and proof of university acceptance, along with a student course statement.
- For final-year students: Latest academic record/transcript and proof of registration/student account statement.
Note: All documents must be less than 4MB.

- Application Deadline: 31 January 2025.
- Shortlisting Notifications: Shortlisted candidates will be contacted by 15 February 2025. If you don’t hear back by then, consider your application unsuccessful
