1. Intern: Technology in Teaching and Learning (Assessments) – Blended Learning Innovation Support and Services

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing e-assessment activities and question banks.
- Schedule e-assessments on UFS online platforms.
- Develop training material for objective assessments.
- Support student and academic staff in using online assessment tools.
- Assist in data collection, analysis, and report writing.
Inherent Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s or B-Tech degree (NQF Level 7).
Recommendations:
- Postgraduate qualification.
- Experience as a Student Assistant, Tutor, EduTech Buddy, or Teaching Assistant.
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) or assessment platforms.

- Manage the diary of the Subject Head (QwaQwa Campus).
- Handle general administrative tasks, including correspondence and scheduling.
- Assist staff with various departmental duties.
- Obtain and process quotes and purchase office supplies.
- Upload student marks and handle mark-related inquiries.
- Process invoices and other financial transactions.
Inherent Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree (NQF Level 7) in Office Administration or Office Management.
Recommendations:
- Experience as a Tutor, Marker, or Student Assistant.
- Knowledge of Blackboard and Oracle PeopleSoft.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
Key Competencies:
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
