Unica Iron and Steel is inviting unemployed youth to apply for apprenticeship opportunities within the company for 2025. This is a great opportunity for those interested in pursuing a career in the engineering field. Unica Iron and Steel is offering the following apprenticeships:
Available Positions:
- Electrical Engineering Apprentice
- Millwright Apprentice
- Fitting and Turning Apprentice
- Boilermaking/Welding Apprentice
- Instrumentation Apprentice
- Plumbing Apprentice
Minimum Requirements:
To apply, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Educational Qualification: N2 Certificate and/or N3 Certificate in the specific trade applying for (e.g., N2/N3 Electrical Engineering for Electrical Engineering Apprentice) or equivalent.
- Documentation:
- Certified copy of South African ID document
- Updated Curriculum Vitae (CV) detailing educational background and any relevant experience (e.g., practical work, projects)
- Proof of residence (e.g., utility bill, bank statement)
- Other Considerations:
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work in a team
