Eligibility Criteria
- Must be currently enrolled in or have graduated with a degree in one of the following fields:
- Film Production
- Mass Media Studies
- Digital Communications
- Broadcast Journalism
- Required Language: English
- Prior experience in video production, editing, or photography is mandatory.
Duties and Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the Communications Analyst and the guidance of the Resident Representative, the intern will be responsible for:
1. Audio-Visual Content Creation
- Producing high-quality video content showcasing UNDP projects, events, and initiatives.
- Editing raw footage into engaging stories for social media, websites, and reports.
- Creating short animations or motion graphics to enhance multimedia outputs.
2. Photography
- Capturing professional-quality photographs during UNDP events and field activities.
- Editing and organizing images for campaigns, social media, and reports.
3. Social Media & Digital Content Support
- Providing multimedia support for digital campaigns, including video clips and visuals.
- Collaborating with the communications team to ensure effective content alignment.
4. Podcast & Sound-Based Content Creation
- Planning, producing, and editing podcasts featuring interviews, discussions, and project highlights.
- Creating high-quality audio content for campaigns and events.
- Ensuring top-tier sound production through editing, mixing, and mastering.
5. Administrative & Asset Management
- Maintaining a well-organized library of video, photo, and audio assets.
- Assisting with procurement of multimedia equipment and production services.
6. Learning & Development
- Gaining a comprehensive understanding of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and UNDP’s mission.
- Sharing insights on audio-visual production techniques with the team.
Required Skills & Competencies
Core Competencies
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent.
- Knowledge of motion graphics tools (e.g., After Effects) is an advantage.
Functional Competencies
- Strong skills in video production and photography.
- Creativity in visual storytelling and digital media.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and digital communication trends.

Internship Conditions
