The Gauteng Department of Roads and Transport invites South African unemployed graduates to apply for Land Acquisition and Support Internship Programme 2025.

The Gauteng Department of Roads and Transport is inviting suitably qualified graduates to apply for its Land Acquisition and Support Internship Programme 2025–2027.

This is a 24-month paid internship based in Johannesburg, designed to equip aspiring property professionals with valuable workplace experience in a key government department.

Internship Overview

• Position: Land Acquisition and Support Intern

• Directorate: Design Services
• Duration: 24 months (2025–2027)
• Stipend: R7,450.75 per month
• Location: Johannesburg

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must have one of the following qualifications:

• National Diploma, B-Tech, or Degree in:
  • Real Estate
  • BSc Property Studies
  • Property Management

Additional criteria:

• Must be a South African citizen
• Must not have participated in any previous internship programmes within South Africa
• Applicants living with disabilities and female candidates are strongly encouraged to apply, in line with the department’s Employment Equity Plan
