The Clientèle Royalty Bursary has officially opened applications for the 2026 academic year, offering exceptional young South Africans the opportunity to pursue their dreams through higher education.

About the Clientèle Royalty Bursary
The bursary covers study-related expenses up to R60,000 per year, including:
- Tuition fees
- Books and study materials
- Equipment
- Accommodation (terms apply)
Additional support may be provided if total expenses exceed R60,000 — no cash payouts are made, and funds are paid directly to service providers or institutions.
Who Can Apply?
To qualify for the bursary, applicants must:
- Be eligible for first or second year full-time undergraduate studies in 2026
- Be South African citizens
- Not currently receive another bursary
- Study at a SAQA-accredited South African university or institution
- Submit a complete application with all required documents
- Have a parent or legal guardian on Tier 3, 4, or 5 with Clientèle for the duration of the bursary
Required Documents
Your application must include:
- Certified copy of your South African ID
- Grade 11 final results (if currently in Matric) OR Matric certificate + latest academic record
- Completed application form (available upon request or at Clientèle offices)

Important Dates
- Closing Date: 30 April 2025
- Status Notifications: By 30 June 2025
- University Acceptance Confirmation: By 31 January 2026
- Signed bursary contracts due: By 31 January 2026
Application Process
- Submit the completed application form with all supporting documents
- Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview
- If not yet in university, you may be asked to complete a career assessment
- Once accepted, successful applicants will enter into a formal bursary contract
Bursary Rules to Note
- You must pass all subjects each year to retain funding
- Only two subject repeats are allowed; additional costs are not covered
- Changing your course without written approval may cancel your bursary
- Examination results must be sent to the Bursary Office after each semester
- Only one bursary per family will be awarded
