The South African Civil Aviation Authority (SACAA) invites young South Africans to apply for the Contact Centre Trainee Programme 2025. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about customer service to gain hands-on experience in a professional and regulated aviation environment.
Programme Overview
The Contact Centre Trainee will provide end-to-end client service through various platforms, including phone, email, and live chat, enhancing the overall customer experience and ensuring high satisfaction.
Duties and Responsibilities
Customer Service
- Respond to customer queries via phone, email, and chat
- Record and update customer data using the CRM system
- Assist with product and account information
- Escalate unresolved issues
- Stay informed on SACAA policies and services
- Send post-interaction surveys to assess customer satisfaction
Administration
- Package and circulate departmental documents
- Maintain proper filing systems and records
- Coordinate meetings and departmental communications
- Log and track queries until resolved as per SLA requirements
- Assist in compiling reports and analysing customer data
Quality Control
- Follow SACAA quality assurance processes
- Ensure service delivery meets SLA expectations
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric
- National Diploma in one of the following:
- Marketing
- Communications
- Consumer Studies
- Business Administration
- Management Studies
- or a related qualification
Ideal Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field will be an added advantage
Experience Required
- At least 1 year experience in a call centre or client services environment

- All appointments are subject to Section 98 of the Civil Aviation Act, 13 of 2009
