The Social Housing Regulatory Authority (SHRA) invites unemployed South African graduates to apply for the Supply Chain Management Internship Programme 2025.

Internship Opportunity: Supply Chain Management Intern (x1)
Stipend: R10,500.00 per month
Duration: 24 months
Reference Unit: Supply Chain
Reporting To: SCM Manager
Minimum Requirements:
- South African citizen under 35 years old
- Grade 12 / Matric certificate
- National Diploma (NQF 6) in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Purchasing Management
- A Bachelor’s degree (NQF 7) in the above fields will be an added advantage
- No prior experience required
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in contract management and tender evaluations (RFQ, RFP, RFB)
- Support compliance with PFMA, PPPFA, BBBEE, and SCM regulations
- Aid in purchase order processing, delivery tracking, and invoice handling
- Update and manage documents according to ISO Standards
- Resolve supply chain issues affecting internal or external stakeholders
- Provide general administrative support to the SCM unit
Competencies Required:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Basic knowledge of public sector SCM legislation
- A proactive and organised approach
