Heineken Beverages South Africa is seeking applications from unemployed individuals to join a 14-month Learnership Programme in Food & Beverages Packaging Operations.
This opportunity is ideal for youth with a passion for manufacturing and packaging processes who want to gain valuable skills and a nationally recognized qualification.
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 with Mathematics (not Mathematical Literacy) and English.
- Currently unemployed.
- Willing and able to work shifts and overtime when required.
- Physically fit and able to cope with the demands of a fast-paced production environment.
- Good communication skills (verbal and written).
- A strong sense of responsibility and commitment to learning.
- Previous experience in a production or packaging environment is an advantage.
Learnership Outcomes Include:
- Understanding machine operations and safety in a manufacturing environment.
- Performing quality control and first-line maintenance tasks.
- Applying HACCP principles and food safety practices.
- Operating machinery (e.g., Washing, Filling, Sealing, Labelling, Palletizing, Depalletizing).
- Attending and passing class assessments with a minimum of 70%.
Successful applicants will be offered a fixed-term contract and must adhere to Heineken’s Code of Business Conduct.
