Valterra Platinum is inviting applications for an Engineering Learnership Programme (18.2- Unemployed) -a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience, expand your technical knowledge, and explore the exciting world of engineering within the mining industry.
The following Learnerships are available:
- Learnership – Electrician
- Learnership – Boilermaker Plater
What the Programme Offers:
- Structured training that includes off- the-Job and workplace Training.
- Successful completion of this Learnership programme will result in a nationally recognized Artisan qualification.
Entry Requirements:
- Matric with Mathematics (not Mathematics Literacy), Physical Science and English (all with minimum 40% pass),
OR
- N2 or higher with all subjects as per the specific Discipline requirements below:
- Boilermaker Plater: Plating & Structural Steelwork/Welders Theory and Plating Structural & Steelwork Drawings
- Electrical: Electrical Trade Theory /Electrotechnology/ Electrotechnics and Industrial Electronics, or Engineering Drawings,
OR
- NCV Level – 4 in appropriate trade with all subjects passed with a minimum 40% pass
