FlySafair, a leading airline in South Africa, is looking for motivated Data Analyst Graduates to join their team at their head office in Bonaero Park. This is a contract-based position with an opportunity to grow and develop within the aviation industry. The successful candidate will work within the IT & Innovation department and will report directly to the Manager: Business Intelligence.

Key Responsibilities
As a Data Analyst Graduate at FlySafair, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to data management and analysis, including:
- Data Collection: Assist with gathering data from various internal and external sources to support business decisions.
- Data Quality & Integrity: Help maintain the quality and integrity of data, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
- Documentation: Support the team in documenting solutions and processes.
- Data Insights: Generate actionable insights from data sets to help guide the business.
- Data Visualisation: Create visual representations of data, including charts and graphs, using Qlik to present information in an understandable and actionable manner.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Gather input from stakeholders to ensure that data solutions meet their needs and requirements.
- Data Initiatives: Assist with initiatives aimed at improving data integrity and normalisation across the organization.
Job Requirements
To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following qualifications and experience:
- Grade 12 or equivalent (Essential)
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, or a related field (Essential)
- Certification in relevant software or analytics tools (Advantageous)
- Basic understanding of Qlik data modeling
- Knowledge of the ELT Framework (Extract, Load, Transform), including data extraction and transformation processes
- MS SQL Database (T-SQL) knowledge
- Familiarity with data cleaning, validation, and transformation techniques
- Proficiency in data visualization best practices
- Analytical skills and ability to manipulate and analyze large datasets
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
