Eligibility Criteria
To qualify, applicants must meet the following requirements:
1. Academic Qualifications:
- Grade 12/Matric PLUS a National Diploma (NQF Level 6) or Degree (NQF Level 7) in:
- Graphic Design
- Computer Graphics
- Visual Arts
- Other related fields with a focus on creative design and technology integration are also considered.
2. Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in tools such as Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, After Effects, and Premiere Pro.
- Strong ability to create animations, logos, typography, layouts, and complex visual concepts.
3. Residency Requirement:
- Applicants must reside in the City of Johannesburg.
4. Internship History:
- Candidates should not have previously participated in a similar internship programme.
Primary Responsibilities
As an intern, you’ll be immersed in exciting projects aimed at enhancing the City’s communication strategies. Responsibilities include:
- Designing visually striking content for branding, social media, and digital platforms.
- Creating animations, infographics, and layouts using advanced tools.
- Collaborating with team members to translate concepts into production-ready visuals.
