The Arup Education Trust invites South African students to apply for Bursary Programme 2025

The Arup Education Trust is offering a Bursary Programme for 2025, aimed at supporting South African students pursuing degrees in the Built Environment. Below are the important details and requirements for this bursary:
Fields of Study Supported:
- Architecture
- Construction Studies
- Engineering
- Quantity Surveying
- Town Planning
Bursary Objective:
The bursary is designed to assist students who have strong academic merit but lack financial resources to continue their studies in the Built Environment field.
Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- South African citizen
- Belong to a designated group according to South Africa’s B-BBEE codes (Black African, Coloured, Indian/Asian, or disabled)
- Completed Matric
- Currently studying towards a degree in the Built Environment field (First-year students are encouraged to apply)
- Studying at a recognized and accredited South African tertiary institution
- Strong academic record
- Combined household income of LESS than R30 000 per month

- Proof of household income:
- Latest payslips if employed
- Affidavit if unemployed
- SASSA grant slip (if applicable)
- Two contactable references, with the following details:

- Relationship to you
