Our Practice Support Department is excited to announce an immediate opening for a Human Resources Intern. The ideal candidate will gain experience in supporting various HR functions through administrative activities. Do you excel in administration and prioritisation? Key Responsibilities
Include, but not limited to:
- Supporting the recruitment process
- Facilitating the employee onboarding process
- Assisting with administration of employee leave, time, and attendance
- Coordinating performance appraisals and probation meetings
- Assisting with employee transfers, promotions, and general HR requests
- Facilitating the employee exit process
- Administration of provident funds, medical aid, and Employee Assistance Programs (EAP)
- Updating and maintaining HR databases
- Support employee engagement initiatives, training programs, and event planning.
Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric) certificate
- Bachelor or Post Graduate degree (or pursuing) in:
- Human Resources,
- Industrial Psychology,
- or a related field
- Solid computer literacy is a must;
- Good typing and administration skills
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written);
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy;
- A strong sense of teamwork;
- Ability to prioritise work efficiently;
- Deadline driven;
- Ability to maintain composure during stressful situations occurring as a result of workloads and/or deadlines;
- Use initiative and follow through on tasks;
- Good interpersonal skills;
- Punctual, flexible and reliable;
- Good work ethic.
