Mission/Function of the Role:

This role is ideal for a dynamic and proactive individual who is eager to learn and contribute to Siemens’ operations in South Africa. You will support the Digital Industries Department by managing customer orders, quotations, and communications while ensuring efficient processing within the company’s systems.

Responsibilities:

• Sales & Purchase Orders: Capture sales and purchase orders into SPIRIDON within 24 hours and send order confirmations to customers.
• Order Management: Handle stock and direct deliveries, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
• Expediting Orders: Expedite customer orders, manage workflow messages, and ensure the accuracy of order updates in SPIRIDON.
• Customer Communication: Regularly follow up with customers to keep them informed of order statuses, backlogs, and any changes.
• Quotations: Create ad-hoc quotations within 24 hours and follow up with customers on their status.
• Promotions: Increase awareness of Industry Mall and promote automated orders to enhance business efficiency.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education: Completed B. Com Degree in Accounting.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Customer Orientation: Ability to understand customer needs and deliver high-quality service.
• Product Knowledge: A basic understanding of Siemens products or services to assist customers effectively.
