Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must be South African citizens.

Applicants must be between the ages of 17 and 25.

Applicants must have completed Matric or must currently be in Matric.

Applicants must intend to study full-time at a university supported by Sappi for Engineering studies.

Academic Requirements

Applicants must have achieved:

More than 70% for Mathematics.

More than 70% for Physical Science.

At least 60% for English.

Mathematical Literacy is not accepted.

Current Matric learners may apply using their Grade 11 results.

Preference

Preference will be given to applicants from communities surrounding Sappi operations who meet the academic requirements.
