Programme Overview

The Department of Tourism, in collaboration with Harambee and SANPARKS, invites applicants to apply for the Integrated Service Excellence Programme. This opportunity is a 12 months contract. This Programme is targeted at unemployed youth to widen employment opportunities in the hospitality and travel and tourism. Applicants must stay within thirty (30) kilometers radius of the following participating sites and surrounding communities and land claimants.

Salary: R4600.00 Per Month (The stipend is based on a maximum of 23 days worked per month)

Duration: 12 months contract

Requirements

Have a clear criminal record.

Be a South African citizen aged 18–35.

Have a Grade 12/Matric Certificate (submit a certified copy).

Submit a certified copy of your ID.

Provide proof of residence (e.g. municipal bill, letter from a Tribal Authority, or other valid proof).

Declare in the application letter if you previously participated in the Department’s learnership or skills programmes.

Have a passion for travel, tourism, and hospitality.
