Internship Overview - We have an exciting learning opportunity for a Food Tech Intern, which will include exposure, understanding and application of the following:
- Investigate any other food safety or quality non-conformances and implement corrective and preventative actions.
- Complete weekly and monthly trending reports.
- Assist with internal and external audits.
- Ad-hoc tasks requested from time to time.
- Ensuring food safety, quality, environmental and occupational health and safety practices are adhered to as per company policies and procedures.
- Assist with Micro – Sampling micro samples and other samples according to procedure.
- Oversee processes and procedures inside the factory.
- Programme information:
- This is a 12-month Intern programme based at our Salads & Pickles Plant reporting to the Manager: Quality Control
- Will at times support the national Quality Assurance structure in rolling out of specific projects / tasks
- May be required to travel to sites for exposure to all business units
- Requirements
- Grade 12
- Completed a Diploma/ Degree in: BSC Food Science or Food Technology
- Driver’s license (advantageous)
- No Experience Required
