Minimum Requirements

Applicants must:

  • Be unemployed South African youth.
  • Hold a valid South African identity document.
  • Have completed and passed Grade 12.
  • Have completed a recognised three-year Degree or Diploma in Financial Accounting or a relevant qualification.
  • Have obtained the qualification from a recognised South African higher education and training institution.
  • Not have previously gained work experience in their field of study.
  • Not have previously participated in an internship programme.

An NQF Level 8 qualification will be advantageous.

Qualification Requirement

Applicants must hold a recognised three-year:

  • Degree in Financial Accounting; or
  • Diploma in Financial Accounting; or
  • Relevant qualification within the discipline.

Candidates with an NQF Level 8 qualification will have an added advantage.

Internship Salary

The advertised salary is:

R10,000 per month

The successful intern will perform duties relating to:

Finance management functions

The advert states that duties may include, but are not limited to, finance management responsibilities.

The successful candidate will also be required to enter into an employment contract and sign a performance agreement with the PHSDSBC.
