Programme Overview

The YES (Youth Employment Service) Programme is a business-led collaboration with government. YES seeks to reduce youth unemployment across private and public sectors. The aim is to enable more youth to develop new skills, gain meaningful workplace experience and earn a salary, which will in turn significantly improve their chances of finding long-term employment.

This opportunity is open to all South African young people. Disabled youths are also welcome to apply (Please mention your disability when you apply).

GIBB YES Programme – Business Admin

National Diploma/Degree in:

• Commerce,
• Supply Chain Management,
• Logistics Management,
• Business Management,
• Procurement,
• Project Management,
• or a related field.

GIBB YES Programme – Project Administrator

• National Diploma in Business Administration
• Strong MS Word and Excel skills..

---

GIBB YES Programme – Mining & Power (Mechanical Engineering)

• Grade 12 or equivalent with Mathematics, Science and English
• BTech/Bsc Degree in Mechanical Engineering

GIBB YES Programme – IT

• A completed degree or qualification in Software Development, that includes exposure to: SQL Server, C#, Power BI/Dashboards

GIBB YES Programme – Civil Engineering 

• Grade 12 or equivalent with Mathematics, Science and English
• BSc/BEng in Civil Engineering

---

GIBB YES Programme – Electrical Engineering

• Grade 12 or equivalent with Mathematics, Science and English
• BSc/BEng in Electrical Engineering

---

SVA YES Programme – Architecture 

• A qualification in Architecture or Architectural Technology.
