PEP invites South African graduates to apply for the Imports Graduate Internship Programme 2025.

About the Internship

This graduate internship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in import logisticssupplier communication, and customs compliance. The intern will play a key administrative and coordination role in supporting import shipments and special projects.


Minimum Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in:
    • Supply Chain Management
    • Logistics and Supply Chain Management
    • Bachelor of Commerce in Supply Chain and Operations Management
  • Imports/Exports qualification or experience is an added advantage
  • Strong administrative skills and attention to detail
  • Computer literacy: MS Excel, Outlook, G Suite

Key Responsibilities

  • Create import shipments and documentary Letters of Credit
  • Communicate with suppliers and clearing agents
  • Track and update events on the PLM shipment module
  • Ensure compliance and accuracy of import documentation
  • Follow up on missing documents, pro-formas, and shipment releases
  • Coordinate container schedules for delivery to the DC
  • Assist with weekly and month-end reports
  • Support special projects and general office admin
