About the Internship
This graduate internship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in import logistics, supplier communication, and customs compliance. The intern will play a key administrative and coordination role in supporting import shipments and special projects.
Minimum Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in:
- Supply Chain Management
- Logistics and Supply Chain Management
- Bachelor of Commerce in Supply Chain and Operations Management
- Imports/Exports qualification or experience is an added advantage
- Strong administrative skills and attention to detail
- Computer literacy: MS Excel, Outlook, G Suite
Key Responsibilities
- Create import shipments and documentary Letters of Credit
- Communicate with suppliers and clearing agents
- Track and update events on the PLM shipment module
- Ensure compliance and accuracy of import documentation
- Follow up on missing documents, pro-formas, and shipment releases
- Coordinate container schedules for delivery to the DC
- Assist with weekly and month-end reports
- Support special projects and general office admin
