Programme Overview
Transnet Port Terminals is looking for dynamic and recently qualified graduates for a two-year programme (24 months programme). This programme will provide the incumbents with relevant workplace experience through a structured learning programme and organizational support.
Responsibilities
- Delivering specific tasks within a work-stream/department
- As a Young-Professional-In-Training, your responsibilities include shadowing various staff members, participating in learning experiences, attending meetings and workshops, with exposure to other working functions within the department to gain practical experience on the following deliverables:
- Communicate with customers to ensure a clear understanding of their needs, including level of urgency as well as keep them updated on a regular basis on the progress of their requirements.
- Serve as the central contact point for supplier and end user queries and ensure that queries are addressed in a satisfactory and timeous manner.
- Provide general administrative, research and assistance.
- Execute project work tasks effectively and efficiently as an individual and collaboratively.
- Produce quality work that can be used as input to develop most appropriate project solutions for the client.
