Swartland Municipality, headquartered in Malmesbury, is offering an exciting Risk Management Internship Programme within the Office of the Municipal Manager (Internal Audit). The internship aims to empower unemployed graduates with practical work experience to improve their employability in the public sector.

Position Title: Internship: Risk Management

Department: Office of the Municipal Manager – Internal Audit
Location: Malmesbury
Stipend: R100,000 per annum (All-inclusive)
Duration: Not specified (assumed 12 months or more based on municipal norms)
Minimum Requirements
- NQF Level 6 or higher qualification in Risk Management, Internal Auditing, or equivalent
- Subjects must include Internal Auditing and Risk Management
- Computer literacy in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency in English and Afrikaans (written)
- Presentation skills
- A valid Code B driver’s license will serve as a recommendation
