General Worker: Rest Camp – South African National Parks (SANParks)

SANParks has a General Worker: Rest Camp vacancy at Augrabies Falls National Park, reporting to the Duty Manager. Reference: AB18.

Location: Augrabies, Northern Cape, South Africa

Salary: R127,497 – R170,601 per annum (Paterson A3 package)

Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric), NCV Level 4 or equivalent
• 1–2 years practical experience as a general worker in tourism/hospitality
• Willing to work weekends, public holidays and shifts
• Good communication and customer-service skills
• Driver’s licence and chainsaw/brush cutter experience desirable

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain chalets, campsites, ablutions and public areas
• Collect and dispose of refuse
• Grounds maintenance, clearing vegetation and pathways
• Basic maintenance such as painting and minor repairs
• Load and transport equipment, linen and supplies
