Minimum Requirements

Applicants must have:

• A relevant tertiary qualification (Degree, Diploma or Certificate in Internal Auditing, Finance or a related field)
• Relevant studies that include Accounting, Economics, Finance, Risk Management or Auditing
• Computer literacy
• Good communication skills
• Must be between 21 and 35 years old

Internship Agreement

The successful candidate will be required to enter into:

• An internship agreement with Kamiesberg Municipality
• An employment contract with the municipality

Main Duties

The successful intern will mainly be trained within the Kamiesberg Municipality Financial Division. The internship is intended to help the candidate develop practical knowledge and experience in areas related to:

• Finance
• Internal auditing
• Accounting
• Risk management
• Municipal financial administration
