Internship Opportunities:
1. Finance Graduate
Purpose of the Role:
Assist the Finance Department with operational and analytical tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist debtors’ and creditors’ clerks with unresolved claims.
- Follow up on outstanding invoices.
- Liaise with customers on problem accounts.
- Accurately load price lists.
- Reconcile internal accounts.
- Perform administrative tasks and other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Qualification: Bachelor of Commerce Degree or Diploma in Accounting (or relevant qualification).
2. Marketing Graduate
Purpose of the Role:
Assist the Marketing team with administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review marketing briefs and assign them to team members.
- Manage the workflow of marketing briefs to ensure timely attention.
- Handle photography requests, coordinate photographers, and upload images to the Media Library.
- Manage promotional items and update website content, including customer information and product documents.
Requirements:
- Qualification: Completed Degree in Marketing or Public Relations.
3. Mechanical Engineering Graduate
Purpose of the Role:
Assist the Mechanical Department with engineering work and receive mentorship on safe practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Measure performance of mechanical components and engines.
- Assist in maintaining and modifying equipment.
- Use CAD/design software for product design.
- Assist with product testing.
Requirements:
- Qualification: Degree/Diploma/BTech in Mechanical Engineering (or relevant qualification).
4. Electrical Engineering Graduate
Purpose of the Role:
Assist the Electrical Department with engineering work and receive mentorship on safe practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fill in a logbook and assist in troubleshooting electrical components.
- Work with artisans to understand electrical components and applications.
- Learn and assist with maintenance of medium-voltage switchgear, transformers, and safety relays.
Requirements:
- Qualification: Degree/Diploma/BTech in Electrical Engineering (or relevant qualification).
5. Procurement Graduate
Purpose of the Role:
Assist the Procurement team in procuring goods and services essential for business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Capture data on ERP systems.
- Assist with procurement procedures for goods and services.
- Communicate with suppliers and ensure timely deliveries.
- Assist with product sample requests to ensure specifications are met.
Requirements:
- Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management or similar.
6. IT Graduate
Purpose of the Role:
Provide IT support and assist the IT team in networking and development tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate the IT Helpdesk and respond to IT queries.
- Assist in providing Windows, desktop, and infrastructure support.
- Facilitate asset management and prepare for audit requirements.
- Troubleshoot common computer problems and manage end-point devices.
Requirements:
- Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Development, Networking, or similar.
7. Inbound Logistics Graduate
Purpose of the Role:
Assist the Logistics team with administrative support and coordination across departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support logistics planning, warehouse, and stock control.
- Extract and analyze data for insights and present recommendations.
- Assist with order processing and communicate with customers regarding order status.
Requirements:
- Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, or similar.
8. Outbound Logistics Graduate
Purpose of the Role:
Assist the Logistics team with administrative support and coordination, ensuring products are packed and transported correctly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support logistics planning, warehouse, and stock control.
- Extract and analyze data for insights and present recommendations.
- Assist with order processing and communicate with customers regarding order status.
Requirements:
- Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, or similar.
Skills and Competencies:
- Ability to take initiative and make decisions.
- Strong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
- A curious mind with a passion for continuous learning.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
