The Free State Office of the Premier is giving unemployed graduates a golden opportunity to gain professional experience and boost their careers through its Graduate Internship Programme. This 24-month initiative will equip 20 successful applicants with the skills, networks, and experience needed to thrive in the public service and beyond.

About the Programme
This capacity-building internship aims to develop competent professionals who can contribute meaningfully to governance, finance, and public administration. Interns will be placed in four core programmes within the Office of the Premier, gaining real exposure to the workings of government.
Participants will receive:
- Hands-on technical skills development
- Training in good governance and ethical leadership
- Financial and administrative management experience
- Public service delivery skills
- Personal development and life skills training
Who Can Apply?
You must:
- Be an unemployed South African citizen over the age of 16
- Hold an NQF Level 7 qualification (Bachelor’s Degree, B-Tech, or Advanced Diploma) in:
- Public Administration and Management or any public sector–related qualification (or equivalent)
- BCom in Accounting
Required Documents
Applicants must submit:
- Updated CV
- Certified copy of Matric / Grade 12 certificate
- Certified copy of NQF Level 7 qualification or transcript
- Certified copy of South African ID
