Idwala Lime invites applications from students residing near Danielskuil, Northern Cape, for their 2025 Bursary Programme. The bursary is aimed at supporting studies in core disciplines essential to the mining and industrial sector, such as Chemistry, Engineering, and Mining.
Coverage of the Bursary
The bursary will cover:
- Tuition fees,
- A book allowance,
- Meals and accommodation (subject to available funding).
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following requirements to qualify:
- Be a South African citizen.
- Reside within a 200km radius of Danielskuil in the Northern Cape.
- Have completed Matric with at least 60% in all major subjects.
- Be studying or intending to study toward a qualification in a core discipline (Chemistry, Engineering, or Mining).
- Be enrolled or accepted at a recognized and accredited public University or Technical College in South Africa.
- Demonstrate the willingness and potential to excel in their chosen field of study.
- Be a top-performing student.
- Preference will be given to applicants from designated groups.
