Investec invites South African students to apply for the Investec CSI Bursary Programme for the 2026 academic year.

Fields of Study
Bursaries will be awarded for full-time undergraduate studies in the following fields relevant to the financial services sector:
- Actuarial Science
- Business Science
- Commerce (Accounting, Business Economics, Economics, Finance, Investments)
- Commercial LLB
- Computer Science (BSc)
- Engineering
- Informatics (BCom)
- Information Science
- Information Technology (BSc/Bachelor of)
- Mathematics
- Medicine Degrees (MBCHB)
- Science
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet these minimum requirements:
- Be a South African citizen.
- Be currently in Matric or have completed Matric.
- Intend to study or be in 1st year of full-time undergraduate study in an eligible field.
- Be studying at a public university in South Africa (not private).
- Achieve minimum results in Matric as follows:
- 70% for Mathematics (not Maths Literacy)
- 70% for English FAL or 65% for English HL
- 60% for all other subjects
- If already at university, must have an overall average of at least 60% in the first semester.
- Actuarial Science applicants must be in 1st year, unless studying Business Science at UCT.
Required Documents
Upload clear copies of the following with your online application:
- Certified copy of South African ID
- Matric certificate or latest results
- 2025 mid-year results or progress report
- Proof of household income (payslips/affidavits/bank statements)
- Death certificates of parents (if applicable)
- Divorce certificate or sworn affidavit (if applicable)
