Johannesburg Water invites eligible South African students to submit applications for the Bursary Programme for the academic year 2025.
Bursary application closing date is 24 January 2025.
Johannesburg Water invites South African students who meet the entry requirements to apply for financial support to study at a recognized academic institution. The bursary is aimed at students pursuing a BSc degree in one of the following engineering fields:
Available Fields of Study:
- BSc Degree: Civil Engineering
- BSc Degree: Mechanical Engineering
- BSc Degree: Electrical Engineering
Eligibility Criteria:
- South African citizen.
- Currently studying or planning to study at a recognized tertiary institution.
- Not previously held a bursary award or other funding (excluding NSFAS).
- Must meet the minimum academic requirements and demonstrate financial need.
- Preference will be given to females and persons with disabilities.
- Attach certified copies of necessary documents (as indicated in the application form).

- Complete the application form using block letters and give concise answers.
- Attach certified copies of your identification and other necessary documents.
- Incomplete or late applications will not be considered.
