About the Internship
This 12-month fixed-term internship offers recent HR graduates an exciting opportunity to gain practical, hands-on experience within a fast-paced Talent & Culture (Human Resources) department. Interns will support daily HR operations and act as a key liaison between the head office and restaurant teams.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative Duties
- Process terminations and update tracker sheets
- Manage GEM and SSAM portals
- Handle general Talent & Culture queries
- Submit ISM forms
- Capture Stat- and IOD leave
Onboarding
- Conduct background checks
- Verify onboarding documentation
- Capture new hires on PaySpace
Recruitment & Development
- Draft offers and employment contracts
- Liaise with departments on external appointments
- Coordinate assessments and development plans
Benefits Administration
- Administer provident fund information
- Process retirement and withdrawal claims
- Address benefit-related queries and documentation
The Vault (e-Learning Platform)
- Track completion of e-learning courses
- Generate reports and analytics
- Provide technical support
Certification Management
- Verify course completions
- Process internal certification
Candidate Requirements
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- National Diploma or Degree in HR Administration/HR Management
- Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail
- Passion for working with people in a dynamic environment
