BOTASH SA is offering an exciting 12-month In-Service Training Programme for one candidate in Analytical Chemistry (P1 & P2). This opportunity is ideal for students seeking practical workplace exposure required to complete their National Diploma qualifications.
Position Details:
- Position: In-Service Trainee P1 & P2 (Analytical Chemistry)
- Reference Number: INSTAC-06-25
- Duration: 1 year
- Reports To: Quality Controller
Purpose:
To provide workplace experience in accordance with the Skills Development Act, enabling students to meet the requirements of their National Diploma in Analytical Chemistry.
Key Performance Areas:
- Laboratory safety exposure
- Laboratory analysis and calculations
- Project management
- Report writing
Minimum Requirements:
- Completed S4 subjects in National Diploma: Analytical Chemistry
- Minimum 60% average, and 65% in major subjects
- Must provide Statement of Results and letter from university for workplace placement
- No prior experience required
Competencies:
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Team player with a willingness to learn
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to pass a medical examination
- Recently certified copies of qualifications must be attached
- Reference number INSTAC-06-25 must be quoted in your application
- Preference will be given in line with the company’s Employment Equity policy
