The Centre for the AIDS Programme of Research in South Africa (CAPRISA) invites graduates who are currently unemployed and have completed a qualification in the field of study of Human Resource Management. The successful candidate will join the CAPRISA HR team based at Head Office in Durban.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting recruitment and selection function – advertise posts, shortlisting of candidates for interviews, scheduling of dates, venue and times and conducting all pre-employment screening and setting up assessments
- Assist with maintaining accurate HR records, data capturing, and preparing management information reports
- Provide support on general HR administration and payroll functions
- Provide administrative support to the CAPRISA Training programme – scheduling and tracking trainings, printing training materials, capture of training data and communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Participate in HR projects and initiatives to gain broad exposure across HR functions
Minimum Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management (or related field)
- A good understanding of HR functions and processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Knowledge of basic South African labour legislation will be an advantage.
