Requirements :

  • A minimum of Grade 12 Certificate. Knowledge in Health Information systems, Validation and Interpretation. Knowledge in computer packages (Ms Word, Excel, MS PowerPoint, Access outlook and TIER.net), Proof must be attached. Certificate in Web-DHIS or Experience in Health Information Management will be an added advantage, Knowledge of Information management processes and procedures, including data collation, processing, reconciliation, analysis, presentations, and reporting. Knowledge of Information systems used in health such as knowledge TIER.Net, DHIS and WebDHIS is an advantage. Experience in data Capturing, administration, HIV/Aids and TB. Competencies: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and knowledge of Batho-Pele Principles. Proficiency in English and other official languages. A valid Drivers’ licence.

Duties :

  • Ensure reliable information and timely information reporting on National Tertiary services Grant, Web-DHIS. Capture patient information accurately on electronic systems such as TIER. Net, DHIS, SAP-His or other health databases. Record HIV testing, ART treatment, Prep treatment, Laboratory results and patient follow-up information. Perform data quality checks, reconcile data. Improve Data Quality by performing training of discrepancies staff in data collection, providing feedback standardize filling of reported data, and validate data by comparing DHIS and summary monthly. Compile daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly statistics and reports. Verify and validate data to ensure accuracy and completeness. Generate reports on missed appointments, treatment outcome and outstanding laboratory results.
