About the Elias Motsoaledi Finance Internship 2025
The Elias Motsoaledi Local Municipality is offering an opportunity for unemployed graduates to gain valuable work experience in the Finance Department. The internship is designed to build professional competencies in key areas of local government financial management over a 24-month period.
This opportunity offers exposure to budgeting, reporting, revenue collection, asset management, and internal controls.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must possess one of the following:
- Grade 12
- National N Diploma / Diploma / National Diploma / B Degree in:
- Accounting
- Financial Management
- Cost and Management Accounting
- Public Finance
- Internal Auditing
- Or any equivalent relevant qualification
- Computer Literacy (MS Office)
No prior experience required.
Knowledge and Key Performance Areas (KPA)
- Revenue collection and billing
- Budget planning and implementation
- Financial reporting
- Asset register maintenance
- Supply chain process implementation
- Internal controls and expenditure management
