Internal Audit Internship Programme (x2 Posts)
Department: Office of the Municipal Manager

Stipend: R100 000.00 per annum (all-inclusive)
Requirements:
- National Diploma in Internal Auditing or Accounting
- Understanding of Internal Auditing standards and ethics
- Strong analytical, creative thinking and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to travel within the district
Key Duties:
- Conduct and compile audit reports
- Analyze system applications
- Identify system weaknesses and make recommendations
- Monitor implementation of approved recommendations
Municipal Finance Management Internship Programme (x1 Post)

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or National Diploma in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Risk Management, Auditing, or Taxation
- Strong time management and multitasking skills

- Commitment to completing educational and workplace assignments
Key Duties:
- Assist in budget and financial statement preparation
- Reconcile transactional data
- Update and adjust budget systems
- Process journals and adjustments
Legal Internship Programme (x1 Post)

Requirements:
- LLB Degree
- Valid driver’s license
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Legal research and organizational skills
- Knowledge of legislation relevant to local government
Key Duties:
- Assist in drafting legal documents and contracts
- Conduct legal research and policy reviews
- Support municipal compliance functions
- Organize legal documentation
