IVANPLATS: Artisan Learnership Programme 2026 – Grade 12 required. IVANPLATS is looking for suitably qualified and experienced candidates to apply for Artisan Learnership vacancies required for the project development.

Minimum qualifications and skills

• Grade 12
• Applicants are required to have a Grade 12 certificate with Maths and Physical Science passed at a  minimum Grade of 60% and an N2 qualification in engineering studies
• Minimum 2 years’ working Experience as an Artisan Assistant

The programme will cover qualifications speciality of technical positions relevant to Ivanplats Mine within the following disciplines:

• Boilermaker
• Diesel Mechanic
• Fitter & Turner
• Instrumentation
• Mechanical Fitter
• Millwrights

Duration and Conditions

• The successful candidates will be enrolled in a learnership programme for a maximum period of 3 years or upon receiving trade qualifications (whichever comes first)
• Candidates must be prepared to work underground and on surface, in all mining operations for mining-related qualifications
• Must pass the relevant medical fitness examination
• Willing to go through the relevant capability assessment tool
