About the Internship
Star Retailers, part of the FMCG sector and operating under MANCOSA, is seeking Finance Interns to support its Finance Department. This internship offers practical experience in financial operations including reconciliations, reports, intercompany invoicing, and more.
Minimum Requirements
- Completed BCom in Accounting or BTech in Cost and Management Accounting
- Proficiency in MS Word and Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication, attention to detail, and accountability
- Willingness to learn and contribute to a fast-paced finance team
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with intercompany invoices
- Maintain Fixed Asset Register
- Perform reconciliations on accounts
- Analyze financial data and prepare reports
- Support accounts payable and other finance functions
- General admin support to the Financial Controller and Management Accountant
