About the Internship
Macmillan Education – South Africa, part of the Springer Nature Group, is looking for an enthusiastic and driven graduate to join their team as an Agency & Digital Intern. This 12-month internship is designed to give hands-on industry exposure in the dynamic field of educational publishing, sales, and digital engagement.
You’ll assist the sales team in day-to-day operations and contribute to building meaningful client relationships and sales campaigns, while learning the ropes of one of the world’s leading educational content providers.
Internship Responsibilities
As an intern, you will:
- Assist with lead generation and client prospecting
- Send sample materials to the sales team and schools
- Conduct market research to identify industry trends and potential clients
- Help maintain and update the customer database
- Support the preparation of sales presentations, proposals, and reports
- Participate in sales calls and meetings
- Assist in coordinating campaigns, demos, and exhibitions
- Perform administrative tasks as required
Minimum Requirements
- Matric or an Undergraduate Degree in Publishing Studies or any other relevant field
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- A passion for learning and entering the world of publishing
